How to stay in shape (for women)

Hi all,

In this article, i would be telling all the women the ways to stay in shape they want. Well you all have done a great work by losing your body fat and becoming thin. You all have a hard part by becoming thin and got your desired body shape. But its of utmost importance too to maintain your body shape you achieved by losing body fat. It is harder to maintain. Some women lose weight, achieve body shape and just finish. But after 2 months, they regain their body fat, lose their shape. They just stop working on their old lifestyle and gets results they never want.

So below are the ways to stay in shape after losing your weight. They are :-

1- Be more active -

The first and the foremost principle to maintain your body shape is to stay active on regular basis. You can be stay active by Walking, Jogging etc. Walking is the simplest way to stay in shape as it exercises your muscles. It is easy for you all to walk. You can walk in parks, malls etc. Stop making use of lifts and escalators in malls and always walk. This will help you to maintain your body shape.

2- Amend your Sitting -

I mean to say, change your set up of sitting at office or at home. While you are working, you can also work by just standing for couple of time (around 1 hour or 2). On that time period, just stand don’t sit as it will help you to stay in your body shape as standing makes your body do physical work more and also increases blood flow and maintain your body muscles.

3- Sit on a ball- chair (instead of normal chair) -

If you want to maintain your body shape, you have to change how you sit when you need a chair. Sit on a ball chair instead of normal chairs as it will help your core muscles to get exercised more and it will maintain your muscles and you will be more alert while doing your work and you will just be possibly active.

4- Consider walk- meetings -

i mean to say, if you are an employee in an organisation or business women, and you have meetings to hold and perform at office, request your co-worker to join you for a walk while meeting. You can have walk meetings in your office building if its just about taking/giving notes or about important conversations to hold. This will help to be more energised, you will be more alert and the most important thing you will perform some physical activity. This will help to stay in shape as it will exercise your muscles.

5- Perform more household chores -

Household chores as every women know involves a lot of physical activity and exercises. Performing this physical activity is very beneficial for you all as it will help you all to stay active, will make you exercise daily and regularly and can be a great measure to maintain your body shape. Some of the intense household chores which you all need to perform are – making your bed, perform the laundry, bathtub scrubbing etc.

6- Fit your workout in your daily schedule -

It is the most important aspect to stay in shape i.e. workout. It is most important to maintain your fitness level. When you will be absolutely fit, you will be in shape. Perform 30 minutes workout everyday as it will burn your more calories you collected all day and will help to keep you more energised, active on daily basis. When you will be in shape, it will boost your self esteem and you will be more motivated and happy by looking at yourself.

7- Eat a healthy balanced diet -

Well, when it comes to eating, I think every individual loves it. But to maintain your shape, you have to always consume a healthy, proportionate diet which is rich in macro-nutrients like protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Stop eating junk food, discard unhealthy fats from your diet that just add weight to your body and nothing else and eat diet rich in nutrients. It is very important to intake a healthy diet. Eat salad, eat food which is more in calories and fully packed with nutrients. This will probably make you eat less and you will consume more calories which will never make you feel hungry at short intervals of time.

8- High Protein diet -

This aspect is important too. Protein intake has many benefits rather than just to stay in shape. These are the building blocks of our body. Protein will help you to maintain your muscles, will always keep you energise at work or during workouts. Eat a complete protein diet, not just eat food that has a part of protein only as it will make you feel to eat more and consume more calories. Foods which includes good sources of protein include skinless chicken, turkey, salmon, almonds, oysters, walnuts, peanuts, peas. 

9- Consume as much water as you can -

The last and the most important one “water.” Your body needs water after all workout’s, exercises muscles you perform daily. If you will not consume water, you will become dehydrated which is harmful. Drinking more water proves to be very beneficial as it will help to keep your hunger level down, will also help to maintain your calorie level. This will boosts up your fitness level and will also help you all to stay in shape.
