Tips to bounce back to gym after a long break

In this article, i would telling you all about the ways by following which you can help yourself to get back into the gym which you left for some reasons. leaving and re-joining gym is a part of everyone’s life. Some can’t afford everytime gym and diet, some are too busy to go to gym regularly and workout, some just don’t want to go to gym.

Wo, what happened? Are you opposed of your fitness cycle? You were so thrilled and inspired to make the current year, the year of transformation in building your physique. many people think as same as you but after a week or too, they are fallen off. Is it due to lack of will power, hardwork, passion, determination? May be yes or may be no.

Every field whether it is corporate, hospitality, technical has problems and if everyone starts making problems bigger than their passion then no one can will be able to achieve anything. They try to overcome those problems by hook or by crook and get the desired results. That’s why they win and are always remembered as winners.

By following these tips, you can easily be back in your gym and will help you to achieve your goals. They are :-

1- After a long break, start slow :-

After a long break when you finally enter your gym, one seems confused from where to start and how. I recommend to start slow. Lift light weights, perform light routines for a week so that your body gets adapted to changes and routine exercises that you are performing. Perform workouts of short duration. This will automatically help your body to change your habits which you inherited when you left the gym. This will be a great help to start.

2- Adapt small changes initially :-

When hitting gym after a long period of time, make small but effortful changes. Set a goal and perform simple workouts for a week. You should try to cut your calories by 10% everyday. Try to increase your water intake day by day slowly and slowly. Make small adjustments everyday and you will see this will lead you to big improvements later.

3- Make a strategy for yourself :-

When you are adapted to gym, it is easier for all of us to workout. But when we cook or prepare our diet, that’s the main course which makes us stressed, fills our muscles with fatigue. So i recommend to prepare a strategy. When cooking, cook for multiple days like 3 or 4 and store it in freezers, in air tight containers which I fully recommend to you all i.e. tupperware. This will not only save time but also money and will never make you feel regret. I would suggests you all to make investments in good modular kitchens to ensure great healthy cooking diet.

4- Set Goals and achieve them :-

After a long course of time, when you hit gym, you have to start from nil. make sure you set goals for yourself as you did earlier. Achieve them too by yoyr hardwork, dedication, passion. The goal you set for yourself will always keep you motivated and will provide inspiration to yourself. This inspiration will help in achieving your goals. This will also help in making your life better as you will get to know how to overcome problems in life and remain stuck to your goals and achievements.

5- Don’t get confused :-

When you hit the gym after long, you are confused about how to start. Then you start and when you start, people start giving their suggestions i.e. “Do this way.” Others say “This is all wrong. Do it that way.” I recommend you all to listen to everybody but perform what you know about. Every approach works, it can be anything like low carb diet, high protein diet, low protein diet etc. And if you are still confused and its getting miserable for you, hire a professional trainer to guide you. His guidance will lead you in the right direction and you will be able to achieve what you want.

6- Get a partner :-

Your schedule changes when you hit gym after long time. And if you are lonely, you will not enjoy your workout and will end up achieving nothing. I personally recommend you to get a partner for yourself for workouts to perform. When you will get a partner, you will enjoy your workout with him. You will both motivate each other while performing workout and will feel like rewarding each other after a hard workout or after lifting a heavy weight.
